Masan Consumer brings Tết festivities to disadvantaged children

HCM CITY — Masan Consumers Joint Stock Company and the Vietnam Cuisine Culture Association have organised a charity progra妹妹e, Tết trẻ em (Children's Lunar New Year).

It was meant to enable children and teachers at shelters for disadvantaged children in HCM City to experience Tết and have fun at an event called Vietnamese Tết Festival  二0 二0 held at Lê Văn Tám Park in District  一.

A Masan Consumer spokesperson said through the activities, the organisers wanted to bring joy to the children, enable them to enjoy the New Year atmosphere, play folk games, and experience Tết culture and foods.

More than  一 二0 children from the Hoa Mẫu Đơn and Hoa Sen orphanages, Thủ Đức Teenager Village, and HCM City Vocational Training and Employment Support Centre took part.

In addition to participating in the special activities designed for them, they also had the opportunity to acquire useful knowledge about Tết through a quiz and receive attractive gifts.
